Call for Presenters and Instructors

The All-Hazards Incident Management Teams Association (AHIMTA) is proud to announce the 5th Annual AHIMTA Educational Symposium, Inspiring Excellence in Incident Management. We are seeking excellent speakers who are willing to share their skills and lessons learned experiences with several hundred Incident Management professionals representing varied disciplines from around the globe. The Symposium will feature 2 distinct tracks:

 Track 1 for start-up Teams
 Track 2 for established Teams

The agenda will focus on providing attendees critical information on lessons learned and best practices developed by existing All-Hazards Incident Management Teams that could be beneficial to other teams. There will be both general and breakout sessions plus pre-symposium classes. Breakout sessions will be in 75 and 150-minute increments including Q&A. Pre-symposium classes will be 1-3 days in length with 1-day classes likely presented twice. Half-day classes will be considered but are not preferred.

Date and location:
The AHIMTA Educational Symposium will be in Denver, Colorado at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. Dates of the symposium are December 8-10, 2015 and pre-symposium classes are December 5-7.

The All Hazards Incident Management Team Association is a non-profit organization and is working hard to keep the costs of this conference as affordable as possible to those wishing to attend. To that end the Conference Committee will cover the cost for those meals that are part of the conference as well as your registration to the conference. We are working hard to obtain funding that could possibly help to defray travel and lodging expenses for those chosen to present at this conference, however, there is no guarantee that monies will be available to do so. We hope that you understand our financial position and will opt to submit a proposal to present at this year’s conference.
